So no Hughes or Pettersson for the Saturday night game with the Knights. Fanduel must really be offering long odds on the Canucks in this one.

Their centers down middle will be Chytil, Suter, Blueger and maybe either Raty or Sasson. Who's going to score?

The Hughes situation is a big red flag for me. I mean including the time he missed before the Four Nations break, he's been off more that three weeks now. And he's still not ready?

If it's anything chronic with Hughes, it might be time to run up the white flag on the season. Maybe the Canucks will be 'sellers' at the TDL after all.
playnow offering 2.40/1.60 so a $10 bet returns 24 on Canucks, $16 on Vegas. I took Canucks +1.5 goals at 1.53 because I'm not feeling it with Hughes out. I didn't even know about EP

You can get better odds elsewhere.

But I have a feeling a lot of teams will be sitting guys that just played in the 4 Nations final. I could see Eichel and Stone out for this one. Some teams have already announced they're doing something similar.

I only bet a few bucks per game so the difference is a few pennies. I just do it for fun. I've tried other platforms, but I keep getting region-locked on sites that are supposed to be Canadian, so I don't want to try again and then have to wait for the withdrawal because my bets wouldn't place.

Quinn played a game?
Nope and the Canucks would not let him go and support his brother either, forced him to come to a practice instead. I bet he really loved that.
1st line centre Chytil. You love to see it!
Nope probably next off the bench but maybe Suter.

Vegas will be susceptible to a trap games and that is Tocchet's system.

Tired Stone, Eichel and no Theodore.

This is again just showing the stupid organisation and their terrible communication with players and injury...

For both Petey, who didn't we just hear today that he was not injured? As well as Hughes.

As one offs sure no problem, but when you have this many its become a issue.
it's outrageous the Canucks forced a dinged up Pettersson to play for his country at the 4NC. may they all die of gonorrhea and rot in hell.

So what does that mean? He's being traded?
Presumably it means it's an aggravation of an ongoing injury he's clearly been struggling with but one that isn't degenerative in the sense that playing with it isn't going to cripple him but it will diminish him and flare up worse from time to time.

You know, like many of us have been saying with his tendonitis flare-ups, how it prevented him from training properly, etc.

He may be getting soft-tissue sympathetic injuries.

Or maybe nature's D students are right that he only cares enough to block shots, play defensively, and take hits, but miraculously doesn't 'care' enough to shoot as hard as usual, or skate as fast as usual.

Quinn Hughes is out on Saturday vs. Vegas, Elias Pettersson is a game-time decision per Rick Tocchet.

Kevin Lankinen is the first Canucks goaltender off of the ice at Saturday’s optional in Vegas. He’s your projected Vancouver starter Saturday night @ Golden Knights.

Adin Hill is the first goalie off the ice, starting tonight for Vegas.

Hughes is out for today's game. How in the world was it even a possibility that he'd be fit for the 4 Nations Final? Guerin went as far as to say Hughes was on his way there. Ridiculous.

hopefully the 3 week break helped some players with bumps and bruises. time to continue the winning streak that was left off against toronto.

Everyone in the canucks medical staff need to be fired
