I understand that the Knights and the NHL have some sort 'arrangement' about how many seats can be 'comped' by the major casinos. The rationale being, you want as large a season-ticket base as you can get, instead of Casino guests filling out the rink with 'free tickets night after night.

But not sure if the same arrangement exists in the NFL. Watched a game earlier this year between the Rams and the Raiders in Vegas. And seemed to me that L.A. fans completely took over in the stadium to support 'their team'.

That's mainly because the Raiders suck and they're not worth watching as a fan so other fans take it as a good opportunity to go see a game in Vegas they'll likely win. I would assume that changes if they get back into the playoffs.

I am actually okay with this especially for Hughes keep him out of the back to back and they don't play til Wednesday. Let him get the extra rest. Also, was just looking at the schedule who thought it was a good idea to play 2 back to backs in a row.

Oh my gawd, not grown up professional hockey players playing a 2 hour hockey game on back to back nights. The horror lol.

Hughes is out for today's game. How in the world was it even a possibility that he'd be fit for the 4 Nations Final? Guerin went as far as to say Hughes was on his way there. Ridiculous.

The whole story is odd, a bunch of people have said he probably just wanted to fly out and support his brother (ie. just be around in the dressing room), and the Canucks shot that down because they didn’t want him flying there and all the way back to Vegas, but it sure sounds like he intended to play.

I wouldn't think about it too much. Like you said it's totally plausible that he just wanted to support his brother. And maybe he did want to play, given his fierce competitive nature (he did play hurt for us, which was just nuts).

Hopefully he will get some time to quietly recover knowing that now we actually have a defense corps that can actually hold the line, or at the very least not embarrass themselves every time they touch the ice.

Loved the pasta so much during the 4 Nations had to make it again.

Veal, pork and beef bolognese with a side salad for game/UFC night. Only about 40 grams of noodles. Lol
