I'm sorry but I been a firm believer of don't say shutout until the game is over for years now. I remember when I used to watch the Canucks back in the day and the Canucks and Kirk McLean would be less than a minute from a shutout. My dad would say yeah McLean is going to get a shutout. Then boom within that minute the opposing team would score and 10 year old me would be left wanting to strangle my dad lol.

Please don't say shutout people. I swear it's a real thing.

He's been pretty good, beat Woll but hit the post/crossbar and made a nice Thorntonesque pass to set up Hronek. Been carrying the puck and setting up chances.

Personally, I hope saying shutout whenever it's a possibility becomes normalized so that we don't have to listen to all this moronic hand-wringing over it all the time.

If you want to follow some dumb superstition, have at it, but it's annoying when you get possessive about what everyone else ought to do.

There are some ways to bypass it (like saying it another team forum) but I’d be lying if I said I was a expert on that subject

He gave it his all in the 1st, but I thought he tailed off in the 2nd.

There was a play where had to turn it up ice in the neutral zone and he looked slow.

On balance, good game though.
