Would be nice to get him out on his own pairing with M-Petey if we can find anyone better than Myers to pair with Hughes.

Willander if he lives up to his potential will fit Hughes like a glove and Hronek can pair with Pettersson at that point. .

Selfishly I prefer Hronek with Hughes so that Hughes can dominate as completely as possible

Lankinen was looking for a starting roll last offseason. The way he’s played this year, he’s probably going to so the same, can’t blame him either. But I do hope they resign him.

Aside from wanting to play more, I imagine part of that reason is trying to earn a bigger paycheck. The Canucks will most likely offer that. Plus he's probably very aware how injury prone Demko is at this point.

Not sure I share your confidence on Demko. Kelly Hrudy reporting that Demko looked awkward and was experiencing some difficulty in the warmup.

Hrudy studies the goalies a lot more closely than other analysts. Would be another devastating development if it's anything of significance.

You know what. I was totally wrong. I didn't see what happened and guess I heard it wrong about Demko. I thought he got hit with a shot in the collarbone area.
