MPetey and DPetey have seriously made the Hughes absence so much more palatable. Not having to watch Juulsen and Desharnais go boards and out or turn it over all game is nice.

Looks like they are riding Demko to see if he can handle the load. Probably so that they can make a decision on the future with Lankinen. I still believe he will either be extended or traded by the deadline. Large part of that will depend on how Demko plays here on out.

It almost certainly means he will skip the 4 Nations and have an additional two weeks of rest and rehab.

Hopefully he’s able to fully heal and recover during this time and come back to the lineup refreshed and rejuvenated for a playoff run in two weeks.

Sadly I agree. It will tell alot of he decides to stay back to get healthy to benefit the Nucks or not. We will see where his heart lies.
