What does this even mean? Our D doesn't need to take those shots especially when they keep missing? Players know when they are taking a shot that will miss? What defines a "low danger point shot'?

Coaches...a different approach... just nonsense.

Use hockey words that mean something with actual strategy instead of Fandom barf please.

Where did this come from. Don't take low danger shots. They keep missing which makes them even lower danger. Carolina for example encourages shot volume which is an outdated concept and doesnt produce results. So the coaching staff has to encourage these players to pass up easy shots and work the puck around to get a higher danger chance. Make the shot blockers move. Make the other team switch coverage. That's something you have to coach in.

Follow your own advice.
