Imagine looking across the change room and seeing another Elias Pettersson who is younger, bigger and has twice the amount of hair follicles.

Rock bottom for EP40

Let's say that Pettersson is injured to some extent. To his defenders, who's to say he'll even recover? And if he does, who's to say this isn't an injury that won't follow him or be at risk to reoccur later on?

And perhaps he'll be one of those players that will pick up more injuries down the line because of his slight build and without escapability like, say a Patrick Kane. Wouldn't you want to hop off the train?

I suppose that's the risk, but now with Miller gone, I don't think we have much choice but to pray that he returns to form.

They can’t really go big game hunting if they don’t want to move any of Willander/Lekk/1st

Not sure what Mynio + 2nd can net you

Edit: I guess they can flip the assets acquired from a Boeser trade
Don’t need to be the biggest game… 1st and B prospect like Patterson could get you a pretty good winger. How much would Nyquist or Toffoli cost as a 2nd forward acquisition?

He’s kind of handsome there
job 100% took a toll on that guy

looked so different by the end of it. mike gillis had the same thing go on and gillis genuinely looks better now than he did towards the end of things in 2014

TBF moving Petterson would free up $20m next year once it boeser also goes. Should not be hard to replace both with $20m. UFAs might pass but futures could be traded.

Yep. That was a bit premature move by management.

Based off the past 2-3 games, Forbort is the one that comes out. Keeps falling down and turning it over.
Forbort doesn’t have a minus in 9 straight games. He almost had two tonight playing with Soucy. Two breaks. It’s had to see on TV the true breakdown…. One of them has to be aware

Soooo how many more games worth of excuses are we going to have before our 11.6 million dollar centre does something that actually contributes to winning a hockey game and making the playoffs?

This is one of the biggest mysteries in NHL history if his game doesn't return to form.

I have not heard one theory that makes any sense. The only thing I can speculate is some sort of phobia/performance anxiety that has destroyed his mental game.
