Sherwood - Pettersson - Boeser
Hoglander - Chytil - DeBrusk
O'Connor - Suter - Garland
Joshua - Blueger - Karlsson

I like the line-up. Especially keeping Pettersson and Boeser together.

Splitting the two most skilled forwards on the team will only make it harder to score, imo. I'd like to see this:

Hoglander - Pettersson - Boeser
DeBrusk - Chytil - Karlsson
O'Connor - Suter - Garland
Joshua - Blueger - Sherwood

Hoglander and Pettersson had something going before being split up. Boeser and Karlsson can always switch if it's not working.

How much better does MP make the defence?
This game will be a test.

Will Hoglander and Karlsson (if he is playing) be held to under 10 minutes again?

Try;

DeBrusk-EP-Sherwood
Garland-Chytil-Boeser

Cowards
Chytil's skating could open up a lot of room for Boeser.

The other option with Pettersson is to put him back with Hoglander and Karlsson, I thought they looked good together and EP40 seemed to enjoy playing with those two. Karlsson's net presence was an underrated component to that line.

There's been quite the smattering of line-up predictions over the past few days that have a lefty D playing on the right of the bottom pair. I keep asking myself whether I missed something about Tocchet having changed his ways.

If, over the next week or two, there's a change away from Juulsen as the third pair guy on the right, I can't picture it being for anyone other than Mancini.

If Tocc won't put Soucy there, he won't put anyone there. I trust Foote and Gonchar's judgment.

That's pretty much Philip Larsen.

This is so on point it's unbelievable.

But of course the even more unbelievable thing was, as you know, our team at the time thought Larsen, who was so bad he couldn't even cut it for Hall/Eberle OILERS defense, was the solution to our powerplay.
