At this point I don’t believe EP is injured…not sure what kind of injury would make you this ineffective and not keep you out of the lineup, and never seems to heal. He’s either damaged goods or just mentally checked out…either way time to move on, he’s not doing us a lot of good…this is not what $11.6m should be buying us.

I was mocked endlessly but I still stand by it. He will be bought out before 2028

If we could trade Pettersson and the player(s) coming back have the same impact as the Miller trade we could save the season. EP40 play is a guy who doesn’t want to be here, move him well we have control, once his NMC kicks in we make life much more difficult for us

Wow, while they're still in the honeymoon phase you HAVE to question Toch's system when the new guys are having so much more success not dumping and chasing. There were obvious moments in that period when Joshua, Petey, and Blueger all dumped it when they had room to skate.

Overall, many positives. The D looks much, much better even without Hughes. Good on Toch for making the line adjustment putting Boeser with Chytil, but I'm not convinced this system works for us anymore.

Most exciting period at home this season. D looks like it's shored up allowing some glimpses of forward depth.

Need more goals to come from somewhere though. 100 goals between Miller, Boeser, and Petey last season that might have dried up moving forward.

D looks pretty good considering Hughes isn't there to play 25 minutes. Solid 3rd pairing work, the smaller North American ice seems to play to EP25's strengths and Soucy has been steady and a hell of a lot better playing his off side than Juulsen looks there. The coaches must be loving EP25's game tonight.

Boeser looked much better with Chytl and DOC, their speed is such a noticeable upgrade.
