That's true, but there's is always need for improvement, especially if you are C/F. Sedins were a great example of this. They worked their asses off every season to build strength - it took a few years. I'm not convinced Petey us making the same effort.
Ive said this before. But Sedins were baby fat and were genetically disposed to build muscle easier. Petey is naturally a broomstick and will always be a bean pole

There just seems to be zero drive to be a difference maker or take charge of games. He looks like a rookie trying not to be noticed or screw up.
I think he wants to be a difference maker for sure. He's just too slow. Seems like he's trying though.

Is it too early to criticize Joshua or no?
Trust me, I’m sympathetic to his off-season, and his medical problems, and everything, but I don’t know, he’s just not playing well
Not getting himself in position to shoot the puck or get rebounds nearly enough. Very much a perimeter player right now and not getting himself to the front of the net.

That silence after the joke ....

Like say something what is wrong with you
joke deserved a good old fashioned

There’s honestly a good chance Pettersson is traded in the offseason before his NMC.

What did he say? I missed it
Who knows. He has time to figure it out and I hope so. He really needs to rise up and become our #1.

Still waiting to find out what the drama in the locker room was all about. Miller looked like a lil bitch on the ice for the last month or so. Now he looks excited to play again on NY. f*** that dude.

Juulsen pounded the puck down the ice with 8 seconds left when he had the world’s simplest pass to spring a 2-on-1.

This is how you end up with 0 points in 40 games.

Here's hoping his full time job next year is selling cars or something, because I really can't stand to see the guy in our line-up anymore.

I like Drew O'Connor a lot. I think he's exactly the kind of player you want on your third line.

Fast, smart, tenacious (though not punishing). Really helps tilt the ice in your favor and tire out opposing D.

MP3 looks very steady. We don't look utterly hopeless like we would without Hughes just about every other time.

Chytil's creative, big, and fast. I think we have to make account for the fact that New York has this wild malaise that inhibits all young players.

The concussion problems are scary, of course. But I like the way he plays and I think there's more than a 45 point guy there.

I remember watching him on the kid line in 2022 that was giving Tampa and Carolina fits in the playoffs and he was a big part of that line.

Rookie Elias looks like a player too. Promising.

Very excited to see what our D core looks like when healthy and adding Willander.
