How wonderful would it be if he blossomed into a reliable #5 and somehow grows into a #3/4?
If we re-sign 3Petey he can hold down that #3 slot and let D Petey level up at a reasonable pace. Maybe they end up swapping #3/5 spots in a few years????

Agreed re: DeBrusk-EP--Boeser line. They have never had very good chemistry. The tricky part here is that you need to give EP at least one good scoring winger, and we have little high end depth in this department. Personally I would move DeBrusk down to the second line and move Hoggy up until there is a better option for Petey on LW. Balance out the scoring on the top 2 lines until we get more help via trade(s).

Pretty impressed with D Elias Pettersson. When was the last time we had a drafted prospect defensemen play at 20 years old? Anyone recall? (Hughes doesn't count)
Already seeing the benefits of MP in our transition game, thankfully.

He looks to me like he lacks burst and is struggling to break down defenses due to a lack of speed.
Was about to post this exact same thing. Why is he just flipping 20 footers to clear the zone and not looking to attack? I am so annoyed.
Need EP40 back with Sherwood or Hoglander.
