Big picture, the Canucks just have too many small forwards. God only knows, guys like Hoglander, Garland, Blueger and Suter really try. They work their guts out.

But it comes down to a sheer matter of physics. When you give away 20 pounds on every shift, it just isn't going to end well on a lot of nights.

If this team is serious about actually winning anything you go with the guy who is actually winning you games. I love Demko and he’s given this team so much but he is playing awful since coming back and should not be forced starts

I don't disagree, it's clearly a question of playing the best goalie now or getting Demko back into form. If he can manage it, strong play from a Vezina-caliber goalie will win games all by itself. If he can't but keeps getting a majority of the starts, we'll keep losing games for no reason.
