How do we put up complete stinkers then somehow show up to games like this

It's partially because these guys are the ones actually putting in the work, but Heinen and Suter being in those spots is depressing.

Hoglander looking nice on the all Swede line. Sedins and Samuelsson must have had input.

The panel leaked that the Canucks were talking to Buffalo and every player decided to show up tonight
New motivation method unlocked. Just leak to Elliotte Friedman that a trade for X player to Buffalo is close before each game and rotate the rumour through the lineup

No kidding. Where has this effort been?

I can handle losing when we try our asses off. It’s so frustrating when our losses pile up and it just looks like Night of the Living Dead, while we are capable of efforts like this.

It all starts between the pipes, Lankinen gives them a chance on how he's playing this year.
Also, our defense looks better tonight with EPD instead of scrub stands like Juulsen.

Hughes has 6 goals in his last 7 games.

Of the last 10 goals the Canucks have scored, 50% of them have been scored by Hughes.

He's 2 goals back of #1 in defenceman goals despite playing 6 fewer games than Makar and Werenski.

And he's been scoring these with an injured hand on top of that...

I love how much of a goal scoring machine he's become.

Hughes and Lankinen have been pure insanity so far this game.

Lankinen, the key saves, tide turners.

Hughes, he's playing like our entire team's pissed him off.

Our managemet MUST take note here: whatever the f*** their plan is, they don't have to tell us, they don't have to tell the leakers, but they have to tell and sell it to Hughes. If Hughes leaves, this franchise will have no hope.

Can’t imagine that they aren’t doing that if they’re actually serious about building a winning team

Battling hard, getting quality goaltending really helps. Honestly, I'd rather see Jett Woo get a game or two than VD in there.

Pretty good start for EP25, a couple hits, +1, a block. It feels like Hoglander's going to get one.

QuinnHughes is the greatest player in franchise history.

Honestly audition every D prospect this team has. They honestly can’t be that much worse than what he’s given them.

Despite what they said, non-playoff players can and do win the Hart, though it is rare: Lemieux in 1988 is the last one to do that, and you have to go back to Andy Bathgate in 1959 for the one before that. Al Rollins in 1954 is the third and last to win the Hart and miss the playoffs.
