If a trade is coming, pull the trigger already.

If we're not making a trade, every one buckle up and and play well.

Either way, holy crap stop sucking. My no-legitimate-exercise-in-decades self can probably out play most of our guys based on the last few games. Like, ****.

I would be hesitant to give him his first game against one of the league's best offenses.
How much worse could Soucy be on his off-side than Desharnais? (Rick, that's a rhetorical question - do the right thing.) Let's see how D-Petey holds up against a good team!

Really hope D-Petey gets a game before Myers returns, and they send him back down.

Is he ready? Probably not. But this Canucks blueline has been so truly awful that at some point you have to keep faith with the fan-base, and offer them some faint hope for the future.

I mean miller needs to be traded, but don’t make a trade just to trade. I would be prepared to lose the trade, but not make a bad trade.

I have a sinking feeling that we're in for another putrid HNIC game at the Rog.

The Caps are big, fast and physical.....and give up almost nothing five-on-five. The Canucks, on the other hand, are soft, slow and almost totally bereft of any confidence right now.

Hopefully Lankinen has recovered from his illness, and will get the net. The way Demko is trending right now, it's a guaranteed loss if he's back between the pipes.

Figure 50 points over the remainder of the season is enough to make the playoffs, 25-10-0? Doubt it. 20-5-10? Doable? Thank God the Pacific Division is so weak this year, otherwise we'd be toast already.

Wish this team would just win and stop making me look like an idiot.

I keep calling for wins and we all know the result.

Tonight ovechkin gets 2 natural hat tricks. Wilson runs Demko and blows out his other popletius. Dubois has his way with Hughes while Miller, Deharnais, Forbort etc all skate away but scowl fiercely from the bench. Later someone like Heinen challenges Dubois and gets tuned. Pettersson pouts constantly except for a brief moments when he's ass-checking guys. Lankinen hides his phone a la John Garrett and his hotdog, in his pads and furiously texts his agent to get him the f*** out of Vancouver.

After the game Tocchet is exasperated and calls it the new rock bottom. But continues to ice the same lineup. Quietly blames Hoglander for everything.
You missed Hoglander falling head over heels in love with Tom Wilson but you can't have em all.

i'm not sure if it's been commented upon, but our season PDO is now below 1000. We're officially no longer PDO merchants. That title now belongs to...the Washington Capitals!
There's a thread on the main boards where all the Oilers fans who can't do math are furiously rubbing their last few neurons together in the least intellectually stimulating circle j*rk seen since the "Burrows, do we really need him" thread.

(Yes I'm salty I've tried to explain how to add 2 numbers together for at least a week in there... forget regression to the mean, we couldnt get past the lesson on addition)

Yeah pretty much bang on.Totally waiting for Demko to get injured again and call it the season.

Tocchet's pre-game speech;
"If you want to be traded away from here play better and make yourselves at least look more valuable"

Tocchet has made this team so easy to defeat, target Hughes and the team loses.
I doubt the entire team doesn't have the number of "dances" that Wilson has.

Will this be another wasted 3 or 4 hours and hundreds of dollars for paying fans?
The state the team is in now and the atmosphere around it some of those paying fans should get .....free Nachos? More like free beer and other stimulants.
No need to cheer, that comes from or amplified the big speakers.

Thunder Dome rules- "Two teams enter, one team leaves. There are no rules" Unless they tap out.
