This is scary. Demko is broken. Miller has check out. Petey is invisible.

Being a Canucks fan blows.

I'm willing to look past Demko's struggles right now. He's coming off multiple injuries that kept him out for a year. It was always going to take time. And our defense certainly isn't helping him.

That being said, unless he has an otherworldly season next year, he's lost millions thanks to those injuries.

Welp, we had a great run in that first period against Calgary in game 1 of the season. I'll always remember it fondly, thinking we had such amazing depth up front that we could crush teams by coming at them in waves. Who knew we peaked for the season, when we were up 3-0 after the first period of play, in game 1? Such great memories.

Those were the days.

It’s proven to be very accurate.

Even during this "locker room rift," Miller has outperformed Pettersson production wise.

I have a feeling the excuses will continue to pour in for Pettersson even if Miller is traded.

One thing I don’t understand is it was reported 6 weeks ago, the decision was made that one of them had to be moved. Kinda indicating that they both had a role to play on the supposed rift. But people just chose Miller to be the bad guy and toxic.

I also don’t buy Miller as the reason for Pete’s struggles. Makes no sense.

Only player that should be off-limits is Hughes.

Their best chance of keeping him is burning it down all around him. The core will forever be flawed if they keep Miller, Pettersson, or Boeser, or Demko.

They need to make a big gamble that they can build a new core around Hughes in a quick enough timeframe. But I think there is more risk in losing Hughes if you keep trying the same flawed group over and over again.

I feel terrible for him but you simply cannot keep dressing him.
