You know. I'm not impressed by Tocchet this year but lets be real here. This is on the players more than anyone. They are simply just bad and stopped giving a shit a while ago.

I think we liked tocchet at first because of the magical year and he seemed to play more aggressive away from the puck compared to green, but some of us have complained in the past even dating back to last year how the team generated offense with him as coach and the powerplay on top of it being awful second half of last year and continuing this year. Unfortunately between Willie, Bruce, and Green the bad coaching hires have been really bad, so the bar is extremely low.

This might be one of the most lackluster road games I've seen since the Travis Green era.

At least when they were smoked 6-1 in Winnipeg, they had a few stretches where they actually carried the play. Tonight, it looks like they're skating in cement.

This run has easily been as bad as the Benning years. This team obviously has a higher ceiling with Hughes on it, but the losses are just as bad.

I mean, even last season they seemed to barley create rush chances

Puck possession cycle is the superior way to attack, so long as you’re building the team around Quinn Hughes. We did that by accident, and Demko turning in maybe the best goaltending single season performance I’ve seen helped us overshoot our coverage by like 15 points.

With Miller gone. I'm not going to lie, but I am absolutely terrified of Pettersson leading this team up front. This whole fiasco could totally collapse even more once Miller's departure. As a Canucks fan we are in for a lot of trouble ahead, this totally sucks.
Because we are so good with JT right? This team is need of major changes, not just JT getting traded

Superior puck possession teams still create way more off the rush then the Canucks do
