LOL. I saw the posted video. I was referring to how Fever got the chain.

Agree that it's not the expected nickname. But it works.
Fehrsie was already taken (old #16, who I almost always think of when I see Raddysh wearing that sweater), but I guess it could be re-used.
'Tin' did confirm he was aware that some fans call him Fever when he was asked at a STH event a couple of years ago.
 
According to Crosby fans, the Capitals aren't even trying to win games because they only care about getting Ovechkin the goals record.

2 pretty solid efforts in a row albeit a bit low event, gotta love the LT/defensive results lately

PIT barely got a sniff, and Dubois is straight up turning into a top shutdown center, his line has pretty well shut down all the big dogs, if we go Pro-Dubois-Wilson as the shutdown line in the Playoffs, top lines are going to have a hard time

Couldn't be entering this road trip / last 9gms before 4Nations break any better

Propably no because it would have to be R-rated for the brutality. Chaos ensued, children were crying. Sullivan looked like he had no clue what was going on.

The last sentense has been going on for couple of seasons though, so it might not have anything to do with the ”battle of Tin Tin vs Cobra Kai”.

What a f***ing fun day yesterday. My brother came into town specifically for this game. Then Commies game slotted for Saturday night. So we went to the Caps game, followed along on phone. Turned devices off and watched second half on delay. Watched first half this morning. So happy!

As for Caps game. They were solid all night. Thompson playing great. Best game i have seen from McMichael in a while. He was moving well, driving play, and definitely developing a bit more edge. On the play Fever came in someone took a cheap shot of McMichael and he threw that guy down as well. For as much shit that happened only Fever got penalty for caps and we Pens got two minors. But i do love how everyone stands up for one another!

Pens must be mixing up the two franchises. Pittsburgh is clearly not trying to win games because they only care about getting Crosby to 2,000 points.

In all seriousness, it would be pretty cool if Ovechkin finishes with the all-time goal lead and Crosby finishes 2nd all-time in points. It would really bookend what a great era we have all just witnessed. Not sure if Crosby will play long enough, though. He's currently at 1645, so he needs 355 more. He's on pace for 83 this year which would get him to 1679 and two more 80 point seasons gets him to 1,839. Might be a bridge too far unless he plays into his 40s (and possibly well into if his points production slows further). Having said that, 1,839 would be good enough for 5th all-time.

yeah, I love that OV game Fever the chain. I would have given it to PLD on performance, but that is how this locker room is and I’m here for it! Brotherhood up in there!

Really is crazy the amount of hype for these 2 guys 20 years ago coming into each franchise and still exceeding expectations.
