I choose to be optimistic. Sooner or later the team will just reach the breaking point and go nuts on the opposition, destroying them on the scoreboard and off. I choose to believe this could be that game.

Suter has always been streaky. He’ll put up a bunch and then go ice cold offensively - but at least he’s a solid defensive forward for the most part while he’s not scoring. Part of the reason he came at such a bargain was that lack of offensive consistency.

I think anything at this point that can relieve Miller of the defensive responsibilities he has been neglecting and allow him to get back to providing some offense and get his swagger back would be welcome…Suter could be that guy…hell, if it were up to me, I’d put him and EP back together…if this is the last days of the lotto line lets see if there is anything left in that tired old bag of tricks. What is there to lose at this point? lol

Yeah, I’d be in favour of riding the lotto line for a couple of games, rather than a desperation shift here and there. I’d put Sasson back in and give him some linemates that can score, too.
Maybe something like -
Boeser - Miller - Pettersson
DeBrusk - Sasson - Garland
Lekkerimaki - Suter - Sherwood
Heinen - Blueger - Hoglander
I’d also keep Brisebois in on the blueline. I think he’s been effective when called upon.

So glad I'm up island today coaching at a wrestling tournament. Won't be mad if it goes really long and my pvr craps out. The only good vibes I've got going into this game is another ass kicking gets us that much closer to rock bottom. Right?
