Far from making that comparison, but the shine has really worn off Rutherford/Allvin imo. It's downright inexcusable how bad our defense has been. And because they backed themselves into a corner, we can't make a trade without getting fleeced.

I guess once again, TDL will tell us what direction they want to go next.

I do hope that we're not gonna become brazen buyers based on first half of the season.

Need a top 4 dman, ideally 2. IIRC we had both Friedman and Brannstrom(probably our 2 of our better puck moving dmen after Hughes/Hronek) dressed for the 5-1 loss against Boston in December and the defense still looked helpless moving the puck under pressure.
