Maybe it's the bourbon, but if we're this 'good' when the team is playing poorly - just how good can this team be with focus in the playoffs?
Good teams find a way to win. Pretty, ugly, high score, low score. The fact that we keep winning says something about the character of the team.

Yeah we should be happy when the team wins but I guarantee Carbs is telling his guys they need to solve the puck possession and shot disparity issues. The Four Nations Cup break

It's nice that they're winning but we've seen how hard it is to flip the switch. The 2015-17 teams coasted down the stretch (while still winning) and that likely impacted their playoff results those years.
I think the key is to round into form post-TDL and entering the postseason. These games in January won't ultimately mean much but if they are playing like this in March and April it will be an issue.
