Post-Game Talk: [GM41] Canucks lose to Hurricanes | 0-2 | Pathetic Effort

Has tocchet, Foote, or Gonchar done anything at all this year coaching wise?

Do they all just sip sizzurp and chill every day?

Why does it look exactly the same every game, just constant mistakes and disgusting hockey.
I'm surprised Foote hasn't taken a personal leave of absence TBH.

Not sure if he can give 100% of his focus to the team right now.

IMO I don't think Tocchet will get fired. He's been here too brief of a time. This is on the core, they can't go through three coaches.

Yeah Tocchet is not perfect but he has the POTENTIAL makings of the best coach we've had since AV. He has to have the balls to scratch/bench/demote guys like Miller. Apparently it was fine to do for Petey, but I digress. Sit Boeser, sit Myers, sit Soucy. Not all at once but the team needs bold action from Tocchet right now.

A game like this is a good measuring tool.....Carolina basically sleepwalked to this victory....If these two teams ever met in a playoff series, the Canucks wouldn't win a best-20 series.

Some things are becoming obvious to me. Boeser won't survive the TDL. They can't afford his contract demands and they need to move on.

And d-men like Forbort, Juulsen and Desharnais need to be gone. At some point you have to keep faith with the fan base. There'd be a revolt by the season-ticket holders unless they move on from these guys. And I suspect Myers would be gone as well, if they weren't stuck with his contract.

Just so sad watching Hughes these days......such brilliance, wasted on this cesspool of a team.

Just about time to .... rip it up. Season appears, at this point, to be a loss so hopefully Allvin and the rest have enough smarts to look ahead. Rutherford came with the understanding he, not ownership, would run the organization. Supposely a free hand to do what was necessary. Well now they better start using that "free hand" to admit to their mistakes (the major one being we were ready to compete right) and to look to re-shaping this team. That may well include a emphasis on looking to the future and moving out some players important to the present.

This game

Boeser - useless per usual

Miller - looks too injured to play.

Forbert - can't skate

Soucy - likely playing hurt. Maybe our worse d-man

Hienen - useless

Juulsen - simply not anNHL player

Suter - fading

and so on.

They aren’t firing Tocchet. That’s purely a construct of this fanbase.

Wow, what a display. There are many problems and some fundamental player issues that need to be solved, but I think Tocchet may need to go. The chemistry is gone, the room is lost, and he's making many mistakes. I've been a supporter of his and provided benefit of doubt based on last year, but enough is enough.

For all the people who think this is the (3rd) coach's fault, I'm absolutely sure you will love whoever the next guy is. The next guy will definitely get the best out of this team while playing the most exciting brand of hockey we've ever seen in the city of Vancouver.

I guarantee the next coach is the one who will make it all happen. They will never scratch a player you like and they will never overplay a player you dislike. And he will start every post-game scrum with "that's a shit team over there."

Can't wait.

At this point I have to wonder, does management really think fans should be happy for another month of this? Do they think that they THEMSELVES will be happy to see another month of this?
