Sens went through a rebuild and the kind of character guys they picked up were MDZ, Gudbranson, and Hamonic. And now they're back to square one.

That Garland goal is a back breaker for the Devil's.
Everybody watching could see Myers brainlessly skating to the left side, leaving the middle of the ice wide open. We could all see that grade A chance coming a mile away. If we are going to win a round in the play-offs, we have to somehow dump Myers at the trade deadline, otherwise he is going kill us in games where you have to make decisions at an even higher speed. Myers makes bad decisions in a game where the other team is playing slow tired hockey.

It’s got the potential to be an awful contract like Huberdeau. Nylanders best season before this contract year production was 87 points. Paying a guy that kind of money for less than half a season of elite play seems really risky.

i agree he has been for a few yrs now. Was soft as F before that but he competes now consistently and is showing he's more dangerous than Marner who relies too much on quickness and edges and his shot is weak. I know Marners the hometown guy but he's been grossly overpaid for too long and outplayed by Nylander when the games become tighter checking.
Both are fantastic front line RWs but it's terrible allocation to have 2 wingers making that much

So much for ever having depth. Leafs are idiots. Too late now as they have to pay these guys UFA market prices but when they signed Matthews and Marner they screwed up their best chance to win a cup by paying for potential.
