The issue has been Kuzmenko riding pine. If Pettersson had the Kuzmenko of last year then it works. His contract is a slight overpayment but that's UFA tax at least it's prime years and he's a plus skater

I'd feel better if they had another line that can score. Can't just rely on the lotto line to produce all the goals no matter how good they are

I feel like it's a decent strategy against teams that don't have a top shutdown defensive pairing.

The point of spreading the talent throughout the lines is to prevent defensive targeting.
