The physical, pest, aggressive Soucy hasn’t been here at all. He was a completely different dman in his Minnesota and Seattle days. I wondered where that was last year but I chalked it up to him just getting adjusted to a new team.

Now he’s just soft. passive. No life.

He’s a floater.

I found it odd that Garland wore an A last game over BB6 (longest tenured Canuck and 40 goal scorer) and Myers (2nd longest tenured Canuck and previous alternate ).

Entire strategy is basically pinball on ice.

Dmen chip it off the baords and out or flip the puck in the air and pray it lands on a teammate's stick.

In the offensive zone pass the puck to the point and hope for a deflection off someone.

Its not very viewer friendly, especially when they start a step behind every single game

I think Miller has trouble dialing it back and his worst control freak tendencies get amplified when things aren't working. I think he'd just like the goals to start coming easy again and doesn't know how to make that happen with the team we've got.
