Lol is Adam Foote making this decision to play Brisebois over Brannstrom, the only puck mover on our d corps? He needs to go. He's clearly asking for management to acquire trees. It's not working. Come on. Tocchet should also know better here.

I still can't believe we have Juulsen, like for f*** sakes.

You simply can't play an NHL game with Derek Forbort as your 3rd best puck-moving defender. Carson Soucy as your 2nd best. Tyler Myers on PP1. It's absurd.

You have Wolanin and Kudryatsev in the AHL and Brannstrom on your NHL roster. I don't care how you fundamentally want guys to play, if you want to be competitive in this league you have to at least move the puck in a semi-competent fashion.

1 SOG ain't gonna cut it either, where the f*** are our forwards.

Forwards can't do much when you're basically dressing an AHL D in terms of getting the puck out of your zone.

Coaching our players to not shoot from bad angles and to try to hit every shin pad or teammate instead of the net is a very interesting possibly revolutionary strategy

Entire strategy is basically pinball on ice.

Dmen chip it off the baords and out or flip the puck in the air and pray it lands on a teammate's stick.

In the offensive zone pass the puck to the point and hope for a deflection off someone.

If you can't get a clean break out of your own zone then you can't generate anything in terms of scoring chances. Even when you do get setup, if you can't trust making a pass back to the point to open something up, you're going to get boxed in and run out of room to make a play.

Now we see why good defensemen are so valuable. With an AHL d core mostly of trees, it completely sewers our play as a team. This feels like a bunch of beer leaguers playing together and not an NHL team.
