The funniest part of the game was the emotions shift when Desharnais inexplicably stepped onto the ice for OT, but he ends up stripping the puck from the Seattle player, making a breakout play, and skating the puck out like a prime Tyler Myers
at one point he looked like he might just fall over his own feet. And then.....

That was too stressful for January

The Hogs is cookin

Myers for Norris

Garland follows up one of his worst games this year, with one of his best

The top line as a whole didn't get top line shifts, but JT in particular was taking VERY short shifts. Borderline face off dutyesque.

This happened earlier in the year at times as well. Probably just not quite right, but not bad enough to miss games, and the roster right now would be comical if he did.

Hoglander in overtime wtf, I never thought I would see the day with Tochett at the helm. Tochett praised him bigtime during his after game interview. Awesome to see.
When Hoglander plays like he did tonight, you can understand why every team in the NHL would be interested......unfortunately those games have been few and far between.

And with the clock now turning to January, 2025, the Canucks and Lankinen are eligible to negotiate a new contract. Give him whatever he wants......just get him signed to an extension. He's that valuable.
