Oh God, if the defensive group today doesn’t convince Alvin to make a deal soon, I don’t know what else will.

That blue line without Hughes looks like some 90s expansion garbage.

Gut check game. Need to dig deep, play to our staples, find an identity, and play for the crest. Give 110% every shift, but play within ourselves. Look to make a play with the puck, but make responsible decisions.

Missing some stars, so play as a 5 man unit that supports the puck and protects the guts. Focus on defending the blue line, and finding opportunistic offense.

Just win, fer f***s sake.

Hoglander completely imploding and Podkolzin being traded really impacts our pipeline of cost controlled young talent. We essentially have nothing from 2020-2022 right now.

Crazy how the Canucks have been kind of shit this season and are still sitting 12th in the league in points percentage.
It does feel that this season, the quality hasn't been great. Especially at home and that they've blown leads in the 3rd.

Overall this season, still have the bottom 3 teams pacing at between 60-66 points, so terrible bad like in the prior couple.

Ott at WC2 in East is pacing at 91.6 points, while WC2 in West, the Avs are pacing at 97.6 points. Van is pacing at 99 points.

Well, that 1st game of the road trip in Ottawa,
- we had Petey, but no Miller. No Demko. Hughes tossed early, but we had Hronek. We won that game.
- today, we have Miller, but no Petey. No Hughes or Hronek. We have Demko in goal.

Hope the Kraken have a severe case of turkey legs.

Hughes has a hand injury. Tocchet told the media before the San Jose game.

I think the main question is the length of injury (ie. day-to-day, week-to-week, etc.) not the nature of the injury, though with Pettersson we still don't really know.
