Seattle may be struggling, but they're a very fast team,--just the kind of line-up that gives this Canuck blueline fits.

So hopefully coming out of the holiday break, we don't see the 'lead skate' version of the Canucks in the first period. If they get down a couple of goals and are forced to open it up, Seattle could claim a rare road win.

Seattle will be playing a MUST win game. It's a 4 pointer.
9 pts back for 3rd in the division, 8 pts back for WC2.
The obvious, if they win they are 2 points closer and the Canuck have burned a game.

I think the Canucks will need to be better than the last game. The last few really.

Hughes hasn't practiced in a few weeks I don't think. I remember having a conversation, not necessarily with you, that it wouldn't affect Hughes at all playing a bit extra. His play hasn't dropped but he is clearly nursing an injury.

Brisebois recall is a bit of an odd one. Clearly management feeling very festive to give all the guys in the minors a little bump in pay this year at some point and keep waiver days low. haha.
