Who is going to let Tocchet know you can’t carry timeouts over ?

Too much old time ego to call a timeout

Pathetic excuse for a coach

Yet another embarrassing loss

To be frank, this team is dogshit. Without Hughes we are top 3 worst team in the NHL and we will likely see that in 2 years. These next 2 years will he finishing out of playoffs and drafting shitty. Mediocrity. We had 1 good year in the least decade.

Keep Miller, debrusk, Boeser together

And plant drugs in Myers locker then terminate his contract

Today’s Game
  • Needed a couple of composure plays and didn’t get them
  • Have to protect the guts of the ice
  • Was a 4-line game and were feeling good about themselves
  • Didn’t execute on the 3-on-1 in OT
  • Can’t throw everything out because, for the most part, the team played well
  • Doesn’t know if it was 3 days off but were good until 5 minutes left
  • Can look at every goal against and see where I Canuck could have made a play
  • Had chances to score on the empty net
  • This game slipped away; this one hurts
  • A couple of individuals don’t feel good about themselves and need to be ready for the next game
Third Goal Against
  • Was an execution play
  • Have to be hard on the puck
Hughes & Pettersson’s Absence
  • Some guys are getting more opportunity
  • Looking for players to embrace the opportunity with these guys out
  • Doesn’t know how long they will be out and hasn’t talked to the evaluators
  • Will know more about their timelines tomorrow
  • Safe to say day-to-day
Juulsen
  • Needed to box-out Sprong
  • Bad things happen when a defenceman stays in the crease
Tocchet’s OT Record
  • Executing plays and defending properly is why he has a bad record
Demko
  • Scramble goals off our defenceman
  • He was fine and is the least of their problems
Top Line
  • Good sign to get some production from them

Those couple individuals who don’t feel good about themselves should not be playing next game.

Fool me once, shame on you.

Fool me twice, shame on me.

Fool me every game, shame on Tocchet.

although watching that last play in OT with my kiddo was classic. who is that? it’s going to be a penalty. shit it’s myers, and they’re letting it go. he might get get clear, wait no but he might still still get a shot off, no wait he’s turning around, hope he the pass doesn’t cause a turnover. shit, he missed both guys, shit it’s a breakaway the other way. of course.

Was on a flight so I missed the game but just happened to see the Myers OT play. Audibly laughed out loud. Chaos Giraffe be Chaosing, what's new

Needed Demko to come up with a save.

That 3rd goal where Juulsen and Soucy botched a breakout that started with a ton of time and space kind of epitomizes the issues with this team.

How it went from an easy out to the back of our net within seconds was laughable yet not at all surprising.

Last season it seemed like the team always found a way to win and this feels like the opposite.

Too many players making too many mistakes at bad times because they are simply asked to play roles that are above their heads.

It's up to management to fix their shit.

Demko and Tocchet are both nowhere near the top ten issues with this team full stop.

Some of y'all should look into an optometrist perhaps.

Bad results. Brutal play by Myers.

But….Demko let in a couple of bad goals. He simply has not been good since returning. It’s not surprising but he is nowhere near the level he played at before injury. He needs to get back to a decent level in short order. Top problem? Likely not because they have a competent goaltender n Lankinen. But he’s not helping the situation either.

3.22 GAA, .877 SV

3.43 GAA, 0.879 SV

One is Silovs and the other Demko. I’m no expert but I just don’t him moving like he used to. I honestly will not be shocked to see him LTIRetired. I also wouldn’t be shocked if he regains form. I have no idea where to put my money.

Overall they actually controlled the game pretty well until the last 5 minutes where every bad play that could be made was made.

Team went for it last season and now there is the regression that everyone talked about for 30 games at the end of last season.

I would play out the rest of the year to see how it goes and TDL decide which direction they should go.
