Question;

As a Canucks coach - your team is winning 4-1 with 5 mins left in the game. The other team scores a couple goals.

Wouldn’t you use your time out to get everybody focused and calm the building? We’ve lost momentum?

What would be the benefit of saving it?

The guy that needed time out in a corner was one d man !

I'm normally a pretty calm guy when it comes to hockey. I try not to get too high but I certainly bask in the victories. I try to let losses roll off my back and quickly move on. I can't change what happened nor is there anything I can do in the moment to affect the outcome.

But this loss, this one right here, has filled with me with a kind of unrestrained anger that I have no felt in many years. Just a seething disgust for damn near every defenceman on this team. There's things I'd happily do to each of these players that would get me convicted for war crimes normally reserved for the most foul of soulless humans.

Tocchet is allergic to timeouts and it has cost them a few times by not using one.

Seriously, Miller sees Myers jump up on the rush and his bright idea was join the rush and leave no one covering on defence???

This is basic hockey 101 in peewee and Miller's selfish arrogance just can't see it.

Forbort, Desharnais, Myers, Brannstrom, Soucy, Juulsen

if there isn’t a move made for a dman by next game, Allvin isn’t a serious GM.
We really needed an above average GM to really get us out of the hole that was dug for us back in 2021.

Unfortunately Allvin is average and has a tendency to make a bunch of unforced errors.

Coaching isn’t the main problem, even if I don’t like the way he deals with certain players. Firing the Jack Adams winner isn’t the answer.

Roster management is an issue. We’re far too thin on the blueline and we’ve filled the gaps with slow Dmen with low hockey IQ and poor puck-moving skills. It doesn’t work in today’s NHL.

Jack Adams winners are products of their teams, not the other way around.

He's done fine considering he had no real experience in the role. Rutherford is the one who should be on the hot seat.

I am really confused as to why there is multiple people blaming Miller for that? Did I miss something? Was he supposed to know Myers is passing 15 feet back of where he was
I think if we're being nit-picky, we didn't need both Brock and JT joining Myers on the rush and being in front of the Seattle players, and someone should have hung back. JT was in more space but once Myers did that little spin thing, passing to Brock was probably the more sensible option. It's just a comedy of errors, no-one comes out of it looking great but Myers was the one who stuffed up

Winning Jack Adams means nothing. Rod is the only other winner not to be fired and he can't get over the hump.
