Question;

As a Canucks coach - your team is winning 4-1 with 5 mins left in the game. The other team scores a couple goals.

Wouldn’t you use your time out to get everybody focused and calm the building? We’ve lost momentum?

What would be the benefit of saving it?

Forbort, Desharnais, Myers, Brannstrom, Soucy, Juulsen

if there isn’t a move made for a dman by next game, Allvin isn’t a serious GM.

What will he trade for and a what cost Juulsen f..d up the game over than him they held up .
Make good trades from a solid position not to placate pissed off fans

Tocchet and Alvin are the brains for this defense. I'm tired of Tocchet already he can F!!! off
Coaching isn’t the main problem, even if I don’t like the way he deals with certain players. Firing the Jack Adams winner isn’t the answer.

Roster management is an issue. We’re far too thin on the blueline and we’ve filled the gaps with slow Dmen with low hockey IQ and poor puck-moving skills. It doesn’t work in today’s NHL.

Not pinch and leave two Kraken in alone...?

Cover for Myers...?

This isn't rocket science, if a dman is in, a forward needs to cover!
Playing 3vs3, you have to take chances to score once and a while. The expectation is that your teammates won't miss their passes by 15 feet. You can't seriously blame Miller for that OT goal.

Myers is a guy forced into a role that he shouldn't be in. I blame Allvin and Rutherford more for not addressing the clear lack of depth in the offseason.
I can't blame Allvin/Rutherford for 2 injuries to their top 2 d-men, but we're definitely still missing a top 4 LHD.

Myers wouldn't have been getting OT time if both Hughes and Hronek were healthy.

I mean, you have to think the head coach gets a say in roster management no?

That is the expectation for 5 on 5 where the team that has possession of the puck changes every two seconds. 3 on 3 the expectation is you hold the puck until you have a solid chance, not through a blind pass to no one.

More that this defense wasn’t going to cut it long before this season started. This is just more evidence.
Did you notice who was missing ffs yes need one more solid top 4 and im sure if a sensible option was available they would take it till then have to hang on

This D core is completely irredeemable and so deeply bad that acquiring ONE top-4 D man using valuable pieces/futures is not going to fix things. Just so thoroughly bad from #3 to #7 (when everyone is healthy!).

Just really not feeling like our year with everything breaking against us.

No not buying that blame.

If Myers makes a reasonable pass Miller has options to skate back or take the puck to the net and you know....win the game? Myers can drop back after he makes the pass.

The result of the worst pass I've seen all season is the reason Miller is caught up then ice at 3on3. It's not fair to blame that on Miller.

100%. How the defense is built after the first pairing sucks.
