I don't want Boeser re-signed. Some team will give a 1st+ at the deadline. Lankinen and Suter have value as well. I would even entertain trading Sherwood if we can get a haul like the Preds got for Jeannot.

Trading the 1st (especially unprotected) should be entirely off the table. It's clear this team is much further away than they were last year.
Trading ANY picks for rentals would be a Nonis-like mistake when most of his teams had flaws and glaring issues. We should fully be looking to clear the books with guys like Hoglander, Desharnais and Heinen.

Either sign a bonafide talent via UFA, make a hockey trade to acquire a decent player while thinking about potential draft targets. Trading top picks and good prospects for a rental would be a colossal waste this season.

This team is either going to miss the playoffs or get swept in the playoffs.

Callup Pettersson, there is no way he's any worse than Juulsen.

Myers is a train wreck. You would think after 5 years this group would of got a good read on this guy. Apparently not.

Epic collapse by the Canucks in this one. Sums this season up nicely.

Makes no damn sense

We were willing to take on $5 million in more salary in potential Myers trades for the final 2 years of his contract in trying to trade him to anybody.

Then we re-sign him

This is entirely on mgmt and the coaching staff.

1. On mgmt for assembling an abomination of a defense.
2. On the coaching staff for continuing to play Juulsen when he's clearly AHL fodder.

Wasn’t it a Myers pass that led to that 3-0 vs St. Louis a few years back? Was at the game thought it was a great effort by everyone despite the collapse. Seattle is woeful

f*** you Juulsen you f***ing plug, seriously how the f*** are you allowed to exist if your only contribution to the score sheet is plays that end up in your own net. 0 points -8 says it all, can't even accidentally make a positive contribution, everything about his game makes me sick

Prefer a stupid knee jerk reaction while injuries are part of the issue he isnt trading from a position of strength would probably be a costly move .
More that this defense wasn’t going to cut it long before this season started. This is just more evidence.
