Hopefully the flu or something and not that EP took one good vintage EP shot and his entire body immediately fell apart.

I thought it was hilarious that Miller tried to full on Kesler his way through the entire team immediately after EP got his second goal and his name was getting chanted.

On that note especially given all the media fuss over player rifts and locker room drama, I'm over the individual player chants and would like to go back to Go Canucks Go. The only exception is that the crowd should start Hugh'ing.

Initially thought the second goal was weak until the replay showed that Juulsen perfectly tipped the 2nd goal into the net. Not one of the 5 dmen on the ice besides Hughes deserves to be above the third pair at best.

the conclusion to this arc that i was hoping for

confirms they are married.

but dude, they just 'hate' each other because they have 6 years and two different cultures between them. They have the same goal. Which makes me optimistic.

I don't for a f***ing second laugh off that Petey may have just been overcome by emotion. I don't know if you noticed but he's...not well.

Why because the Sharks scored a meaningless goal with second left in the game. The game was over after it was 4-1. The game never felt like it was never in doubt. I don't understand how you consider that barely beating the Sharks.
Eh I get the 4-1 point but the game was very losable how we played the 3rd

That's a macro-issue, which is to be expected. The micro-issues got better today which is even better for our outlook. Miller's in EP's ear all night, it couldn't have possibly been bad things he was saying with every one of his teammates around. Shit gets out that way. No real shits been getting out.

@MarkusNaslund19 HUGE STICK TAP. HOLY f*** HE NAILED IT.

This is hardly a game to write home about but I didn't really think they gave them that much in the 3rd, especially considering Pettersson's absence. Ceci goal was a lucky bounce.

Pairing Miller with Hughes is such a significant roster decision. It drives the perception of these two players imo.
Pettersson has played more minutes with Hughes than Miller has, and about the same on a per game basis.

But score adjusted Pettersson has a 51% GF% without Hughes on a 53% xGF%, while Miller is at a 33% GF% on a 39% xGF%. Similar o-zone starts for the two away from Hughes.

Hughes’ numbers don’t change much no matter who he plays with.
