Pierre-Luc Dubois gets some well-earned revenge, along with twabby's Game Puck for tonight's two assist effort.
HMs to Aliaksei Protas, Jakub Vrana, Rasmus Sandin, and Logan Thompson.
Ya maybe, but carbs has def earned the benefit of the doubt for these types of decisions.Feels like an over reaction by Carbs but who knows. If Miro is benched why isn’t TVR?
Ive been listening to the other teams feeds. Almost all of them are gushing over Protas. LA feed had to double check he's 6'6 and then they thought he was a 1st round pick. lol
Semin had strong wrists. No joke, as he was a bit lanky. As a player you actually strengthen your wrists to have better snap on your shots.Semin’s release was insane. Always figured the guys forearms must be huge.
LT’s t-shirt is killing me, lol
You should read the Kings GDT for this game. They were bitching about PLD all game long. Since the Kings are my 2nd team to root for, a good deal on their boards they don't even appreciate what Darcy Kuemper has done for them. They know their GM is a problem, and their coach as well, but still use PLD as an excuse for their complaining. They were saying PLD had two lucky primary assists. A broken stick and a puck clearing hitting a ref are bad breaks, but good players have offensive awareness of what to do with the puck in those type of situations.View attachment 950006

likely the standard veteran bias at play, but beyond that he might be trying to limit the top 4 D’s minutes on the first night of a b2bFeels like an over reaction by Carbs but who knows. If Miro is benched why isn’t TVR?
Yeah it's actually weird how good Kuemper has been for the Kings. Was looking at his stats the other day and wondering why he couldn't play that well in goal for the Caps. You should read the Kings GDT for this game. They were bitching about PLD all game long. Bottom line, Kuemper was not a good fit here and PLD was not a good fit in LA.
I'm on their board all the time. A lot of them have PLDS(PLD Syndrome). Kings have a good skilled offensive roster, but they keep hiring coaches(TMac/Hiller) that force defense first and lack of offensive creativity. Their team philosophy is more about center play. They don't develop good goal scoring/shooters from their wingers. Their coaches never understood how to utilize PLD's skill set right. By the way, their PP is a lot worse than ours. While their zone entries are probably better than ours, they don't know how to execute skilled offensive play on the PP(probably because they have been too much of a grind it for goals type team).Alot of bitterness in the Kings GDT about Dubois - it was pretty funny. Most of them said the Caps goals were fluky and that's the only way PLD could get points since he's such a trash player
A couple of Kings fans were honest enough to suggest he played a good game (which he did).
Kings play defense first, 11 fwds 7 d-men. Their rush offense sux, plus their best goal scorer is only Kempe. I mean they drafted a good center in Quinton Byfield, but they have messed up his offensive development. Kings don't take outside chances on trades or free agency to bring in a goal scorer or good 2ndary goal scoring. Kings have drafted too many centers, while the Caps emphasized more on scoring wingers in the past(they have become better at drafting centers).Yeah it's actually weird how good Kuemper has been for the Kings. Was looking at his stats the other day and wondering why he couldn't play that well in goal for the Caps.
To sum it up shortly, Kings have a long time rep of sacrificing offense for protecting their net. Outside goalies that the Kings have acquired over the years, always end up with better numbers.Yeah it's actually weird how good Kuemper has been for the Kings. Was looking at his stats the other day and wondering why he couldn't play that well in goal for the Caps.
Didn't he have a kid during the season last year? Sometimes it just takes young parents time to settle things down.Yeah it's actually weird how good Kuemper has been for the Kings. Was looking at his stats the other day and wondering why he couldn't play that well in goal for the Caps.
