i had this thought earlier yesterday but i can absolutely see this being a circumstance where aquilini really digs his feet in for the first time in two years

Every team knows the Canucks are gonna dump it in, retrieve it and pass it back to the point and try to get Hughes to shoot it. They just block the shot. The forwards have to be allowed to be more creative

one thing that surprised me is how much tocchet hated the 11f 7d thing given there's always two guys he only plays 7 minutes a night and how much we could use brannstrom in these late game situations when we need to not have forbort on the ice

there's no way those lines would have the same results if they went against the pettersson/miller's qoc and also you can't just bench your two best forwards like you kinda need them to just do something

if it was one i'd get it but both is impossible and unrealistic
