Suddenly Charlie's got his groove back. Mint W.
Think it's a penalty on every sport since it disrupts the flow of the gameWas wondering about this. Brindamour tried to call a TO he didnt have. I can't remember if that's a penalty or if I'm thinking of another sport
IDK about hockey, but I'll always remember Chris Webber being penalized for trying to call a timeout he didn't have in the NCAA finals. Was wondering about this. Brindamour tried to call a TO he didnt have. I can't remember if that's a penalty or if I'm thinking of another sport
Yeah I was thinking about that when Troyer asked and I'm a big cwebb fanIDK about hockey, but I'll always remember Chris Webber being penalized for trying to call a timeout he didn't have in the NCAA finals.
And I don't even watch bball.
He did an interview with the Sports Junkies on 106.7 in the last year or so, and of course they asked him about the timeout. He had a really amazing/inspirational perspective on it.. Talk about turning a negative into a positive.. I'll see if I can find a link to it if anyone's interested. Great interview in general.IDK about hockey, but I'll always remember Chris Webber being penalized for trying to call a timeout he didn't have in the NCAA finals.

Way too early to say yes or no. Lindgren has gotten closer to where he was last season, while LT has been consistently playing well. It's good they are both challenging each other like they are the #1 goalie. To have CL/LT playing well is a luxury not many teams have. Caps can win any game with either goalie.Has Lindgren equalized the race to be the playoff starter against LT?
At least if it’s going to happen it’s best to happen around a break.Uhhh something is tearing its way through the locker room. Not good.
At this point I just expect PLD to impress every game, and generally don’t get let down.Great win and performance. Really impressed by PLD (again) and Protas, Fehervary had a nice game too. Always feels great to beat the Canes -- an very underrated horrible fans/coach/owner combo in the league
Heard that interview live. It was a good one.He did an interview with the Sports Junkies on 106.7 in the last year or so, and of course they asked him about the timeout. Yeah, I was wondering that one too! Love the energy in that locker room. Why is Vrana “Bob”
Canes announcers were harping on the fact that he could have made more of an effort to slow down/stop with his right skate and theorized that contact with Kochetkov was inevitable, whether Burns(?) pushed him or not.In regard to the disallowed goal, what I don't like 1)Kochetkov overplays his positioning. 2)Carlson is driving the net(he has that right), while a Canes d-man is draped behind Carlson. 3) Carlson does the right thing embracing his hands up on the crossbar. 4) Kochetkov kind of does the splits to get back into the middle of his crease but it's too late, with his right leg pad making contact with Carlson's right skate.
If Carlson didn't have a Canes player draped behind him, then yes goaltender interference. The Canes player draped behind Carlson should have nullified any goalie interference, as Carlson was not allowed to move to the side(most likely the left post).
Fans of all 32 teams know the rule is messed up and not called correctly even after a replay review. The rule book language for GI needs to be more detailed of what you can and can not do.
