I agree with you completely, I just don't trust the interpretation of the interference rule anymore at all.Good goal

And now the GI sweepstakesGood goal
I hate the rule. You can't crash the net at all anymore. And now the GI sweepstakes
Jesus. This sucks. Goalie was utterly out of the play.
The first was the league looking at if the net came off the moorings.I’m listening on mute. Did they challenge that twice?
And the goalie was completely out of the play. Carlson touching his pad had nothing at all to do with the easy tap-in after tic tac toe passesClearly pushed into the goalie.
Okay that tracks. The first was the league looking at if the net came off the moorings.
And Kochetchov took himself out of the play.Clearly pushed into the goalie.
Both are highly irritatingI'm more irritated at the lack of a tripping call on Kochetkov than the goal being overturned!
Oh I agree with you. That was the very example they use that negates GI in the rule book.Okay that tracks.
What doesn’t track is how that’s GI. Burns shoved Carlson the entire way into the net and never gave him an opportunity to get out of the way. So I guess the NHL wants Carlson to become a high jumper and spring himself over the top of the net so the goalie can magically make a save? Dumb f***ing rule
The way it’s broken down in slow motion frame by frame isn’t what this challenge was originally intended forOh I agree with you. That was the very example they use that negates GI in the rule book.
Was wondering about this. Brindamour tried to call a TO he didnt have. I can't remember if that's a penalty or if I'm thinking of another sportDelay of game. They used the timeout so they’d initiate the first challenge
