heck
Rogers purposely overbidding for exclusive NHL rights was terrible for both companies.

Rogers lost a ton of money and TSN lost a ton of viewership.

The icing on the cake? Us as viewers didn't even get a better product out of all of it.
Ultimately f*** the NHL for creating what was essentially a monopoly in Canada. Instead of letting Sportsnet, TSN, and CBC HNIC live in harmony they killed off one network and forced another to merge with Sportsnet.

Everything was so much worse with Sportsnet compared to TSN, especially trade deadline and draft day coverage.

Things were so much better when both companies were competing to have the better product.

I always preferred TSN's coverage, but even then, Sportsnet at least had to try to keep up.

I remember one year Sportsnet brought in Eklund at trade deadline day and his ass was covered behind a black screen.

NGL and this is a bit of a nitpick but I really dislike that play by Garland. He and Boeser were out for awhile but Utah was starting to get hemmed in and for a team like the Canucks that has seriously struggled to string together shifts in the offensive zone this season, blindly throwing the puck away when you have time and space to ensure possession with a tired Utah team is just really stupid.

It just feels like offensively this team does shit like that so often. Just like a lack of situational awareness.

There’s something off about this team not showing up every other game..
Between Miller being an ahole and ep being a disinterested soft whale, its looking more and more that hughes was not up to the task of being the captain and managing the room

What a shame
