Top tier response. I dunno what the hell he's going off on about taking away things that make Canadians, Canadians. What does that even mean.

Hey I actually like the Canadian way to utilize metric and imperial system. Metric is displayed for the most part, or both, and people during casual interactions use imperial units that they are familiar with.

You Poor soul

ManVanFan has a point, I myself definitely slack off for way too long and, well, I will do what I have to do not what I like to do.

One wonders which team will deign to appear?

The mighty world-beaters who make us believe the Great Silver Chalice is within our collective grasp?

Or the feckless layabouts who hemorrhage scoring opportunities and goals against whilst leveraging the barest offensive pressure against the foe?

We shall know ere the night of combat is o'er in Utah.

My hunch says Utah will be more motivated, new team in the league eager to prove themselves, and our boys might feel just a touch of complacency after last win.

Effin' Shakespearean.

Way too good for this forum. It's like a adding a glass of '78 dom perignon to a McHappy meal.

Also, big thumbs down to @Vector adding the dash in the thread title. Hyphen-nazis everywhere are rejoicing. Never hyphenate! Better to die, hyphen free!

Looks like Demko will get another start. Might be his toughest test to date. Utah is trying to hang on in the wildcard race. This will be like 'a playoff game' for them.

Speaking of which, I think another aspect of their motivation will be not falling behind the precedents set by Krakens and the LTIRs, both of which achieved impressive results in their respective inaugural seasons.

168cm and 85kg, that's why.

Replaced one of my meals with just a salad, like the picture, and doing some pushup/crunches/lunges/squats everyday at home.

I hate this so very much.

But it must be done.

Go try out different sports and try to find some stuff enjoy doing.

Doing sports that you hate doing is not going to last. You will find reasons to stop.

With love,

Salt Lake City is actually a pretty cool city. Went there years ago for an interview and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful scenery and the city centre has a pretty good vibe.

Utah seems like a beautiful place. I haven't had a chance to get there but it's on my bucket list of US states. Obviously not a now thing with the CAD collapsing.

Yeah, they're quietly 6-2-2 in their last 10, and playing a Utah team that's coming off 3 days of rest at elevation while we're riding high off beating one of the better teams in the league with all the rumors surrounding the team - it just screams let down spot. Hope I'm wrong

I'm a proud canadian through and through. But I have no idea what 1.8m and 73kg works out to be.

I can kind of get there by thinking about metre sticks from school and doubling kg, but no where near as precise as someone just saying they're 5'10 foot 160lbs for example.

Also if you told me "oh that's 12 cm away, I'd say come again? " but 12 inches no problem. (Nice)

Please don't take my Canadian card away and lifetime subscription to maple syrup.

Glad someone understands. I've never heard anyone say that they are cm and kg's in Canada. My wife is a nurse and she said no one has ever given her their height and weight in cm and kg's in Canada.

This is going to be a tough test, Utah are far from an easy out and a regulation loss, and they're only 2 points back of the Canucks. The start of a very difficult back to back.
