Not me. In fact, I'd say a win means nothing without a Game Puck.

You learn more from your losses than your wins. So i hope Lappy (and others) learned. I’d also say we develop players better than most orgs. It’s a process.
I always liked when my kids “lost”. Need to go through it. I don’t like losing. Neither do my kids. But you have to kiss that devil if you want to do more than average.
It’s funny that PLD has the reputation he has, because he was absolutely the only Cap that looked like he was busting his ass tonight.

Oh well, The Hockey Guy will definitely drop us from #1 in his Power Rankings! He started talking about the Caps play this season in a video. Caps now 0-2 since!

Way too much fancy play. They need to get back to basics with a few garbage can goals. Gotta get scrappy and spend more time in the dumpster. Need to get uncomfortable and visit the landfill more frequently. Step outside their comfort zone and take residence in the port-a-potty. Don't be afraid to get dirty and catch dysentery, they have to start swimming in the raw sewage.
Embarrassing effort, even given the travel circumstances. McMichael, Strome, Eller, Carlson particularly bad, LT didn't cover himself in glory either. PLD the lone bright star.

IF I’m reworking the top 6, I might take a flyer with Miro on top line and move Raddysh to 4th line. Not an indictment of Raddysh but more I’d like to get our fourth line together again. And it gets our second line back together with McM-PLD-Wilson. Current third line has potential.
You asked is Lappy learned anything. which i assume was did he learn from watching. I think yes. And no he shouldn’t have played IMO. I like getting V in and I like Lappy watching a game or three.

Shorty Hawks goal was a hell of a backhand top corner. 2nd goal I'm not sure on from LT's point of view. The late goal, I would have liked to see LT use his stick to poke-check the puck, but also his angle in tight on the left post seemed he allowed Danato too much room to come across the crease like that.

You don't put Miro on the top line when his production has been minimal playing on lower lines. I think you go back to the lines when OV was still healthy and just plug-in for him.

Caps had gone 9 games without having a regulation loss. In those 9 games they were 8-0-1. Before that they lost consecutive games 2-1 to the Avs and 3-2 to the Devils, both at home. And now they have the 2 consecutive losses on the road, 3-1 Stars and 3-2 Hawks, after winning 10 in a row.
Back to Hershey, where he can be a goal scorer again. He's 20 years old. There is no rush for him to stay in the Caps lineup.

Capsman doesn't obviously know what he's talking about. Carbs said he liked a lot how they played against the Stars, but did not get some bounces to go their way. Against the Stars they lost on some small details. The kind that can go either way when one good team plays another good team.
Which is exactly what I am doing. Insert Miro in OV spot. Put Raddysh back on 4th line. All lines stay the same with Miro slotting in for OV.
