Can’t “blow up the season!”…….lol.Trade him for Brady Tkachuk!
By a mileMissing his lift check…
True that.Bad games happen. Carolina just got drubbed at home by Seattle. Play better next game!
The last period they dominated. Especially the last 12 minutes or so. They suffocated us on one end and skated circles around us on the other. Are you joking? Thats what I was referring to.lol it’s 1-1 even in shots….”worked I tell ya!”……
Except for the 2 goals. Long shot and the other off his body, in. I don't think it's unreasonable to say he could have stopped both. Our top offense didn't show up tonight. Quite frankly, Caps haven't played well @Home for 4 straight games. Silver lining, I don't want this team to be in a President's Trophy race.Totally took the Sharks lightly and deserved the loss. LT showed up tonight.
So many flubs and missed nets tonight.Bad games happen, I’d rather lose games against teams lower in the standings. It’s funny, when games like this happen I always think back to Ovechkin’s third season, where we were the worst team in the league and went to play the Sens in Ottawa when they were the best team. I had no hopes for the game but we ended up winning and it felt really good and exciting. “Bad” teams dig in against good teams, they have to work harder and focus on preventing top teams from playing their game, and the Sharks did that very well tonight.
Caps felt off their game, possibly a mix of an extra day off and not taking San Jose seriously, and that’ll get you. Have to have the mentality where you play every game as hard, because at the end of the season all that matters is how many points you have in the standings.
Also there is some irony in winning the game twice in a row off of double minors committed against us, then losing tonight on a double minor we committed.
I had Pepperoni pizza for dinner tonight...Not enough driving the net. Should of won this in the 1st.
