I'd prefer Thompson myself but we have budget goalies who perform pretty good, I like our team. I'd prefer if charlie could get back into last seasons form.

I don't think the team thinks Thompson isn't the 1A but I think the days of a starter getting 60 or even 55 games is probably over. I think it's wise to keep their guy rested in the hopes of a long postseason run.

I'm sure if they have a pressing need to win every game they'll lean on Thompson.
