We’re like, a year away from being able to challenge because the shooter was wearing the goalies unlucky number, distracting him from being able to properly play his position.

But seriously, Wilson has been seriously stepping it up these past few games. Great to see from a guy who is the presumptive captain once Ovechkin retires to be setting a good example while Ovechkin is hurt.

Carbs has such an impressive presence…..
Seriously. He has such a confident, concise way with words. It’s fun having a young, modern coach! I hope he gets legit Jack Adams consideration.

He built a solid foundation last year, with a undermanned squad. The FO overhauls the roster - and yet he’s able to integrate the new pieces seamlessly. He reportedly spent the offseason obsessing over ways to score more goals. And now we’re seeing the huge payoff - the Caps lead the NHL in goals!

He is the coach version of BMac. Says exactly what he's thinking/going to do and then goes and actually does it.

You think that’s better than Lavi’s “will work it out in the room”? I see Lavi turned back into a pumpkin after his first season as per usual.

I don't love Lapierre's season, but I do appreciate the way Carberry is handling the situation. Getting him into the lineup and allowing him to work his way through the slump. While he's not producing at the level I would like (0 goals), he does have 4 points in his past 7 games.

Lavi's approach seems to work for a year or two, but it wears off fast. You love to see it.

The Ranger's threads are full Lavi hate. Shocker. Dude is a dinosaur
