Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Only saw the last 15 minutes but seemed like a pretty perfect game. Also pretty incredible that despite the overall high scoring and guys like Ovi and McMichael going strong you still feel like PLD, Lappy, Raddysh, Wilson have been unlucky not to score more.
Don't get the doom and gloom. Three straight games against top opposition and they more than held their own despite being down their best player and needing to throw the lines in a blender

Thompson at 27 may be the guy. How much term. I’d prefer 4. I’d do 6. More is just tough to swallow.

1. Love a coach who actually understands when things don't work you don't just keep trying the same thing and expecting different results
2. This staff (unlike the last coach) very clearly actually understands that you need to use advanced metrics as part of the toolkit for decisions
3. Eller there was so refreshing, no panic on that empty net. Just out-waited the defender instead of throwing a wild backhand.

Very nice bounce back. Hopefully it just took a couple of games to reframe the notion they could do it very well with Ovi on the mend. Lot of talent and compete though the roster.

Adversity. Lost 2 in a row for first time this year. Wasn’t a great start. Caps really controlled back half. Had some ugly breakdowns that Thompson saved us. Nice to have that with both goalies. Great win!

Probably a good time to get FLA. Enjoyed the back and forth between Fehervary and Tkachuk. Team defense is legit.

I love our Dee. Top 6 is legit. Sure it drops to 7 and 8 but they are capable too. And then yeah, team defense… forwards get back. It’s nice.

It’s been talked about already, but it was easily Lapierre’s best game of the year. He looked very confident and was making good decisions. If he can keep it up and that line continues to gel, what a book that would be for this team.

I'm sure Florida will bounce back but it was stunning to see Washington's speed on display tonight. Felt like every loose puck was theirs and a lot of odd man rushes.

Hope it's not overly optimistic but maybe they're finding their identity/stride while Alex is sidelined. Go get 2 in Tampa, boys.
Important to put things into perspective. This was the Panthers third loss in a row, but it doesn’t mean they aren’t a great team. Even the best teams go through bad patches. The Caps losing 2 in a row is a blip. Just have to get back to business, this third period was a clinic.
