I had no idea Georgiev is now a f*cken 6-0, sub 1.80 GAA and .943+ SV% against us!

That is LT 1st regulation loss. Now 8-1-1. His GAA will go down and his SV% up. Offense pressed too little too late. Let us be real, this game was won by the Avs on a fluke doink off Roy's shin! Other wise this would have gone to OT.

Caps having the #1 offense in the NHL, was bound to have a goal scoring stinker like this. Oddly, when we won in Colorado the Avs had won 3 in a row. They came in here and stopped our 3 game win streak.

Shake the lines up Carbery. The top line makes no sense.

mangiapane has no place on a first line in the NHL. He's a complementary middle six forward.

If Hindrance Lapierre plays next game and is given PP time over Protas or Miro next game Imma...Imma...be dismayed. Non-plussed. It's nearly Thanksgiving. If the guy hasn't shown a pulse yet...I mean...time to reevaluate readiness. This L isn't on him but they have alternatives and can't afford to wait on him figuring it out.

Weighing down the PLD and Dowd lines only works if the easier assignments eat and neither of the other two managed that tonight. Going forward it's not going to be easy remedying that issue but they've definitely got to try Miro. They may need to bite the bullet and try Vrana on the top line for a spell. Mange is kind of a plug.

This stretch will test their fortitude and capacity to stick with it most of all. Dig in because it's not going to come as easily.

A 2-1 lost to the Avs isnt the worst. I have them Cup contenders. Would have liked to see someone step up with 8 out.

I saw enough. Mangiapane doesn't fit in on the top line and him missing from the third line threw that one off too.

From my Armchair coaching, and as others have stated, I'd keep the original lines together and insert Miro in Ovies spot.

Also fwiw, Colorado is a good team, so small sample size. Two more tough matchups coming.
