I was already thinking about getting my DC crew together for the game at the Shark Tank in March. Tix are pretty cheap cause they’ve been an abomination. He's breaking it this year. My guess is it comes somewhere in this stretch?

She and Bura are married now.I wonder if that brunette was in the front row again….?
Yes. Very much so.didnt watch, did eller look like he solved the 3rd C problem?
Carbs is very savvy and vocal about how to get proper rest and recuperation when playing multiple games in short windows. He once again set caps up for success to play in second game of b2b.2nd game in a row of Carbs not shortening the bench much
only Raddysh with an 8min gap in 1st and Vrana with 10min gap late in 3rd
Vrana/Eller/Mangia the only ones under 12min TOI 9:59/11:32/11:27
b2b with Utah coming may have some to do with it but basically this is having a dependable 3C in Lars not needing to be sheltered like Lapi/Sgar (and McMic3c last year)

I’m not one of those “face offs don’t matter” guys, but we got dominated at the dot and still won comfortably…..ponderous….Horrible gm at the dot for Dowd, Strome not much better:
Dowd 4-18 (22%) incl 3-15 (20%) in D zone
Strome 4-13 (31%) 0-3 in D zone
Eller 8-15 (53%) but 1-5 in D zone
PLD 13-22 (59%) 7-14 in D zone
In general I'm the same, but in D zone losing 26 of 37 faceoffs is playing with fire, didn't get burned this game fortunately; if it was only 13 draws like what we had in the O zone (7-13), yeah not worth typing it outI’m not one of those “face offs don’t matter” guys, but we got dominate at the dot and still won comfortably…..ponderous….

over the course of a season it'll cost us at some point
and if you're using "ponderous" as a Casey Kasem reference... Awesome!

Pretty sure there were some in the threads on the subject in the Mains over the years. There are no "Face Offs don't matter" guys. There are some who question a direct correlation between overall faceoff percentage and winning percentage. Obviously some faceoffs are more important than others and therefore, they matter
There has been here too. But the ones that generally scream that thinks it is as important as the sun rising. But many cup champions have been shitty at faceoffs. Face off percentage isn’t coreletive to winning as much as other things.Pretty sure there were some in the threads on the subject in the Mains over the years.

We should hire him ala Michael Pecca back in the day. This faceoff talk got me thinking about our old faceoff ace Jay Beagle. I cant find out if he is still playing. His last NHL game was in 2022
With all the Ex players helping out at training camps I would be for this.We should hire him ala Michael Pecca back in the day.
