Vegas again?

Weird to have this season-set finished before we have faced some of our division opponents but whatever. 4 for 4 from Vegas would be great.

I randomly find myself from time to time looking up Bear Hughes' stats in the Vegas organization, because I still can't figure out for the life of me why he isn't at least an AHL regular. He only played 6 games all of last season - 5 in the ECHL, 1 in the AHL - and so far this year has played 10 in the ECHL with 13 points.

That is all. Go team.

Today I expect a strong win with an Ovi goal, Eller goal, and CMM hat trick. #unreasonableexpectations

ps I'm in the crowd under that tree by the street lamp. Completely sober w/ my gf soberly standing on an overflowing trashcan.

😇

I also was in that crowd. I also was sober.

Only one of those statements is true.

Would’ve been fun to be in that crowd… but I was busy being in the arena. ;)

And I was sober…

Capitals about +110. That sounds about right. A win helps the case that Caps are a very good team. A loss doesn't necessarily hurt the case, at least not much.

I would not bet against the Capitals right now, even if I weren't a fan.

Glad to see Duhaime is in. Was looking to see any announcements on a player being recalled but nothing. Probably just a bruised ankle but that shit hurts!

I almost went to Vegas for game 5 because I was in Vancouver for work. Could t find anyone to join me so watched with a bunch of friends. Turned 50 at midnight after game. I was far from sober. In fact went off the grid for 5 days as a result of the two. Haha.

Think you missed my sarcasm. Definitely not sober. In fact, one of the lasting memories I have is someone on Hst having a large handle of liquor on the sidewalk and I saw 2 cops and a fireman talking to her. Got closer and realized they were all drinking from the bottle. lol They asked if we wanted any, and who am I to turn down free public drinks with the officials. We got lost in the city afterwards. Great night in DC!

I watched that game, like every other, on TV in Sweden where I live and it ended around 5:30 am. I celebrated the victory by popping a bottle of champagne, drank it and then walked 3k to work that started at 7 am. No ragrets!
Thank goodness for my wife, she insisted we have high quality champagne on ice for the game so we also popped a bottle when it was over. Some neighbors came over and celebrated with us.

It was the best of times.

Don’t love Lappy at 4LW, but it is what it is. I do however want to absolutely FEAST on Sammy tonight. Want to chase him in fact! While Logan is a beast! LFG!

Haha! yeah, totally went over my head. I guess everyone else who said they were sober were also banged up! Cops are really cool if you are. Have had some similar experience. Particularly in NOLA. But if you f*** with them, or their horses, you will get beat the f*** down.
