Is it just me or are home back to backs extremely rare? I feel like I've seen some in recent years but it wasn't really a thing prior?

Someone enlighten me.

It’s felt like such a slow start to the season for us, I’m just happy we are finally playing a back to back.

5-2 Canucks

It does seem pretty unusual to have a home back to back, I can’t recall another one off the top of my head. Ours always seem to be on the road and the odd time the opposition playing at home is on a back to back, it’s when they played a road game the night before.
Of course we regularly get visiting teams on their back to back after playing Cal/Edm the night before and maybe a few that played Seattle.

My Vikings are going to lay an absolute beat down on the Titans today, and I’m hoping the Canucks can do the same to Nashville tonight (yes I love torturing myself with my team choices, but I’m also a Lakers fan so it balances out).

Expecting Sherwood to have a good game tonight - really like what he did for the Petey line yesterday. I’m thinking they’re going to put up 3 goals as a line today and lead the boys to victory.

While the Preds are DFL in the league they do play a heavy game and are desperate.

Vancouver for what ever reason has often been a slump buster for other teams.

Even though the score was 4 - 1 last night, it was a squeaker until the 2 empty net goals but a win is a win.

IMO this game might be a bad result, it could be.

It is a chance for the Canucks to pad their home record, two bottom, very bottom teams in the league that should be "mail in's".

Another bad start could see a much different result because the Preds DO have real snipers on that team, not so much Chicago.

This will be a quiet, hidden game with the Grey Cup happening so maybe buried in the media.

Traffic will be so bad it won't be if the team can show up on time it will be if they all show up at all at he same time.

Man I’m not that old  I might make bad decisions but thinking a 58 year old can even participate in a professional fight is beyond even a Canucks and Vikings fan.

Paul is a marketing genius though for getting 70k people to show up to him beating up a dude from an old age home. Tyson was in jail when I was born and washed up by the time I could even watch him fight with my dad.
