I know we're all mostly cringing at the Boeser next contract but when you see how soft/small and talented our next group of wingers are it's hard to argue with just get it done
But you have to see how he returns after the concussion. If he takes a while to regain form then his ask likely drops a bit unless he really wants to leave.

Man I like Tocchet but yikes.

After 3 weeks of training camp/preseason and 5 weeks of regular season, your forwards still don't know where to go on breakouts?

That's a pretty big coaching failure.
Its just a leadership accountability tactic. You start with taking the blame/bullett for the guys then you re- assert the directive.

Now it's on the core to pull it together. No excuses. If you have to keep doing it you have a big problem.

Not liking the optics of this one......Canucks are hanging their goaltenders out to dry these days.....Silovs has hardly played this year....and when he has, it hasn't been pretty.

Hawks will do what every team does to the Canucks.....throw the puck in deep and relentlessly pressure that shaky Canucks defense. Cleaner breakouts are essential to beat the pressure.

Hopefully Lekkerimaki can pot another one.

Hoping to see Silovs put in a good performance for the first time this season. Talk of Demko coming back has quieted down, we may need him to play some games here.

Also will be watching that third line to see if the magic from last year is still there, though Joshua is going to need some time to get his game back.
