2nd to last year with Bedard as an ELC. He is then free to hold out and demand a trade back home.
He had a decent October but has been totally mediocre this month. Had 3 assists in one game, but 1 point and a -5 in his 5 other games.
That Blackhawks team just totally sucks though. Rivals those early 2020's Coyotes teams with washed up guys like Hall, Bertuzzi, Foligno, Craig Smith and Maroon taking their final laps in the NHL.

I'm guessing Silovs starts in this game and they give Lankinen the tougher game against his former team.

Canucks have really never created a great home ice advantage at Rogers Arena since its inception in 1996.
2-3-3 in 8 home games for 7/16 points.
6-1 on road (with an OT win). 12/14 points.

Preds game is the harder game to get because the Canucks will play Chicago on Saturday, while Nash is resting on Saturday as yesterday's game vs Edm was their last before Sunday. Odd that the Canucks schedule a game on Grey Cup day when we are the host city for it.
Might be wiser to play the better roster to secure the 2 points vs Chi and hope for the best vs Nash.

Blackhawks have Bedard, Vlasic and Jones, not much else and Bedard has not been playing well in the past two weeks. They've been getting decent goaltending.

Ya but, the Islanders were missing their best point producer and a couple of NHL dmen too.
This is another game they should just have to mail in, last game they didn't get to the mail box. Well last year's team could just mail it in.
When a team like the Canucks is made, dependent upon two or three scorers and PP scoring and 5 on 5 to not be scored on other teams have a chance to run the table or control the play because nobody scores from the boards.
Too many players are being told to play outside their comfort zones.
Should be a win.
the worst thing about this game is that a win doesn't really do anything to assuage the doubts about this team
